About Us
Three years ago Re:Store op shop was just a dream - not only born out of a love for finding a killer deal while second hand shopping, but for supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies. We desperately wanted to create a safe place where people could receive both information and support. Practical support like pregnancy tests and baby items, but also emotional support throughout the pregnancy, no matter what choice is made.
Our founder Shannon found herself in a similar position 29-years ago as a young teen mum. During that uncertain time, she was given the gift of understanding all of her choices and unwavering support from women around her. Since then she has passed along this gift to other women in her community. Seeing the need in Palmerston North, she rallied a group of dedicated volunteers around her to share her vision and partner with Pregnancy Choice.
